Community Guidelines & Code of Conduct

About The Community Collective

We exist to serve community builders in the Australian and New Zealand startup space.

Our mission is to support community builders to build stronger communities and create a space where they belong. Our vision is to make community building the most impactful and enjoyable role worldwide.

Our Community Guidelines

Our Community Guidelines and Cohort Terms and Conditions help us keep The Community Collective a safe and supportive space for all.

It is expected that all those who interact with The Community Collective members, team and partners either online or in person abide by these guidelines. Especially for those who are looking to join our community, are currently a member of our meetup community or Community Cohort or attend our events. We're dedicated to upholding these guidelines and our values and we hope that you are too.

Anyone that does not abide by these guidelines may be asked to leave our community or may result in other restrictions such as being denied entry into our community. Any questions, please contact us.

Our Values

Give more than you Take

We believe that a rising tide lifts all boats. Our community is grounded in reciprocity where we give more than we get to ensure a fair & generous world.

Transparency is our Default

We are open and honest with each other. We say what we mean and mean what we say because we believe in collective learning so we can all grow.

Feedback is a Gift

We are outcome-oriented. We believe in changing the lives of others, not wasting time. One way we do that is by sharing constructive & kind feedback to help us level up.

Connection before Content

First and foremost we check in as humans, always supporting each other through this wild ride called life. This is always done before diving into any content.
